Singer Bahati Opens up about one thing that is a threat to his brand

Gospel Artist Bahati has opened up about one of the greatest threats to his brand.

The Singer is currently among the top earning  artists and he said that the greatest challenge is dealing with fraudsters who pause as his name.

Bahati was  speaking during  a live interview  when he revealed that there are about 4 fake pages on Facebook and  the good thing about the other social media accounts is that they are verified.

The artist also said that it seems like the fraudsters are people who know him since they have his phone number and give it to the people after they con them.

Bahati also gave instances saying that there was a time  when his imposter  asked for  people to contribute money for his wedding after  he had proposed to Diana Marua.

Several people have also been duped after they paid money for a concert that Bahati was not even aware of.

Bahati’s team in the past few weeks have been keen to inform the fans on the authentic pages and sent out warnings over the fake ones.

Some of the conmen promise Kenyans of opportunities under Bahati’s record label, only for them to ask for money from them.

EMB records management warned Kenyans not to contact any of the provided numbers since the people behind the keyboard are of ill intention.

Bahati however says that they are trying as much as possible to make their fans alert so as they may not fall for the tricks of online fraud.
