Gospel Artist Ringtone is among artists who have publicly addressed the scandal that involved top gospel musicians DK Kwenye Beat and HopeKid.
Ringtone has been on the frontline to give updates on what he knows and shared his thought on the saga.
Being among veteran gospel musicians, Ringtone feels entitled to be part of the conversation and he says that what is important for him is for justice to prevails.
Speaking to Mseto East Africa, Ringtone confirmed that he went to the hospital after he was called by people whose identity he did not want to reveal to inform him about DK Kwenye Beat’s health condition.
He also added that as Gospel artists they have been fasting and praying since the incident is clear sign that the gospel industry has been attacked.
Ringtone insisted that he did not want to reveal more information considering that the issue is still on the trends.
He made it clear that he did not want to get caught up in the midst of the scandal like how Gospel Artist Size 8 was.
The musician also stated that he could not reveal the hospital that he was admitted in since he is not a close relative or spokesperson.
Ringtone also said that when he got to hear about that story, he broke down in tears since he could feel the pain from the lady’s side of the story.
He also added that there still many questions that people still need answers to.
Ringtone said that they will be addressing the matter this coming week and he is willing to share the information that they have.
He however wishes that the involved should speak in length and give answers to the pending questions before action is taken.
As members of the gospel industry Ringtone added that they will be on the frontline to ensure that the matter is solved.
