President Kenyatta urges Kenyan to shun divisive politics

President Kenyatta has urged Kenyans to shun divisive politics and instead channel their energies towards development.

The President has pledged to ensure every sector of the economy thrives, for the benefit of all citizens.

The head of state noted that it’s only through peaceful coexistence that the country can make great strides towards achieving its development agenda.

Uhuru also called for collaboration in achieving the various goals laid out by his Administration.

The President was addressing Wananchi in Ngong town, Kajiado County earlier yesterday in the company of Deputy President William Ruto and  visiting Burundi Vice President Gaston Sindimwo.

Ruto on his end added that Kenya must reject a segmented, fractured society that drives a wedge among communities and polarises our existence. The coming together of everyone means a growing, robust economy and valued relationships.

The Deputy President mentioned that their  focus is on service delivery, unity and peaceful coexistence among communities.

Yesterday, the President also  inspected the progress of the ongoing construction of the Kiserian-Isinya Road. The road is expected to ease congestion, as well as enhance the movement of people, goods and services between the two towns upon completion.

Burundi’s Vice President H.E Gaston Sindimwo lauded President ‘s development agenda. The VP urged Kenyans to remain united so as to foster an environment conducive for the realization of development in the country.
