Police in Nairobi are investigating an incident where two people died after drinking an unknown concoction at a construction site linked to Musalia Mudavadi.
The two are said to have died on arrival at a health center in Karen, while six others are in critical condition.
The latter are still receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital and Langata hospital.
The incident took place near the residence of Mudavadi who is out of the country.
The Amani National Congress (ANC) leader later posted a statement on the incident on his social media page.
“On Thursday, 7 workers on a construction project in which I’ve partnered drunk an unknown concoction. Sadly 3 lost their lives but 4 have been discharged. The matter has been reported to the police for further investigation.”

Karen OCPD Grace Wanja confirmed the incident saying the victims prepared the concoction at the construction site where they were working.
She also said they have advanced the probe into the matter noting that an autopsy will reveal what led to the two deaths.
The bodies were taken to the City morgue as police combed the scene for clues.
