The President of the Republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday held the first Cabinet Secretaries meeting since the beginning of the year 2019.
The meeting was held at state house where all the cabinet secretaries attended.
In the meeting , President Uhuru Kenyatta gave his Cabinet Secretaries the way forward on how to help the government in achieving the Big Four Agenda which is core to the to his legacy.
The President also highlighted the key areas of working especially in this year to make sure that the development agenda is achieved.
On the same note of development the President issued harsh warning on those who are actively engaged in corruption scandals and those who facilitate the practice. He has said that cannot be tolerated at all.
On his task force to steer ahead the development agenda, President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged other Cabinet Secretaries to work hand in hand with CS Fred Matiang’i who is in charge of the task force assisted by CS Henry Rotich towards achieving of the Big Four Agenda.
This comes after a section of Cabinet Secretaries who have not been revealed appeared to be antagonizing and opposing the appointment of CS Matiang’i.
The President has used that platform to send warning on those who are opposed of the idea to just walk home rather than act as hindrance block to the development agenda.
