A few minutes after midnight on 1 February 2019, Michy Batshuayi joined Crystal Palace on loan from Chelsea.

As Twitter went into meltdown following the club’s official confirmation, Michy took to the social media platform to confirm his new team.
Shortly after the official announcement, Palace’s new man told cpfc.co.uk: “I am very happy to be back in London and the Premier League, and already looking forward to being on the field – this time in red and blue!”
He added: “I’m hungry for game time and goals and I hope I will find all that here at Palace.”
