Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino looks to have changed his tune on his future at the club admitting that he cannot confirm whether he will be at the club next season amid links with taking over the Manchester United job.
Pochettino has however been leapfrogged by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the favorite candidate to take over the managerial job on a permanent basis after impressing in his nine games in charge.
The Spurs boss is understood to be a firm favorite of the United board as they look to find a permanent replacement for Jose Mourinho – who was sacked last month.
In a press conference after the 2-1 win over Watford, Pochettino failed too guarantee his future at Spurs beyond this season.
“I can’t promise that. You know me very well, that from day one I always feel a responsibility to give my best, but [my future] does not depend on me, it depends on the mood of my chairman, it depends on the decision of the company, it’s not only my decision to be here.”
