Nandi Hill MP Afred Keter in trouble as court issues warrant of arrest

Nairobi Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi has issued a warrant of arrest against Nandi Hills Member of Parliament Alfred Keter after he failed to appear in court for mention.

Keter was scheduled to appear in court for for pre-trial hearing of the Ksh.633 million Treasury Bond forgery case alongside two others, businessmen Arthur Sakwa and Madat Saburali.

Today’s case was to confirm whether exhibits and other documents the prosecution intends to rely on the case have been supplied to the defence.

The matter has been pushed to February 14 for further directions.

Keter and two businessmen Madat Saburali and Arthur Sakwa have been out on a Sh2 million bail after they were charged with forgery
