Kenyans online have shared terrible experiences that they had in their work spaces.
The conversation was initiated online by female activist Scheaffer Okore who said that she noticed that beyond being paid well or on time there are many deep issues hurting people.
Under the #ToxicWorkSpaces Okore interacted with tweeps online and Kenyans got to speak up on the issues that they have gone through.
With the rate of unemployment being high, some people end up being so desperate to stay in such work places in the name of sustaining their needs.
However such experiences could come back to haunt them or even disturb them for a greater part of their lives.
“I worked for a company where someone called me the least paint employee.. it hurt me upto date” one Kenyan said.
Just a couple days ago, a lady shared how she dismissed a job offer after a brutal 2 hour interview that made her cry in the bus.
Here are screenshots of other experiences shared by Kenyans.
