Denis Suarez sends parting message to Barcelona after completing loan transfer to Arsenal

Denis Suarez has sent a parting message to Barcelona after completing a loan move to Arsenal for the remainder of the season.

The Spanish midfielder was in talks with the Gunners for most of the month before he finally extended his contract with the La Liga giants and moved to Arsenal on a temporary basis.

Suarez has previously played under Arsenal boss Unai Emery at Valencia and Sevilla and is keen to link back up with a man he holds in very high regard.

The Gunners will decide whether to make the deal permanent at the end of the season depending on how Suarez fares in the Premier League and the price Barcelona have in mind for the 25-year-old.

Suarez sent a parting message to his parent club on Instagram after agreeing terms with Arsenal.

Alongside a group picture of the Barcelona squad the Spaniard wrote: “You are an amazing group! Thanks for so much, see you soon.

“You’re a group of amazing people! Thank you for everything, see you soon. Good luck and come on Barcelona. Always.”

Arsenal fans have responded positively to the post, with many welcoming the Spaniard to the Emirates.
