I personally believe that rape and defilement cases are not being given the seriousness they deserve by our news outlets. It is like a man raping a child has become normal in our society.
We must condemn these acts before they become a national crisis. A man who intentionally forces himself on a child is worse than Al Shabaab. He deserves to be castrated. In fact his all manhood should be chopped off because he doesn’t need it.

David Rugendo Karuri was arrested in Kianjokoma market, Embu market where he was hiding after committing the act.
More worse is the fact that the kid’s parents did not even notice the pain that their young daughter was going through. One of the minor’s teacher noticed something was wrong with the girl and approached her and that was when she said what had happened to her in the hands of her alleged attacker.
The teacher then alerted the police who traced and arrested the man who is set to be arraigned to face defilement charges.
