Sauti Sol &other Kenyan celebrities mourn the death of great R&B singer

Its with sadness that a longtime friend passed the news that James Ingram, one of the bigest stars in R&B music in the 1980’s and a double grammy winner and two time Oscar nominee has died at age 66 with other sources alleging it was due to brain cancer.

Fellow legends in the music industry here in Kenya Sauti Sol have taken to twitter to mourn Ingram expressing their disappointment in the death by saying 2019 needs to chill.

Classic FM radio presenter Maina King’ang’i has also talked of James legendary imput thanking him for his great music.

Sports Media personality Carol Radul has also revealed she grew up listening to the talented singer whom she loved very much.

His first No. 1 pop hit was 1982’s “Baby, Come to Me,” a duet with Patti Austin. He again topped the chart in 1990 with “I Don’t Have the Heart.”
