Judiciary unleash evidence that landed Lydia Achieng a 10yr imprisonment

Over the past few days the public has been brought to attention by a case against Lydia Achieng who is currently serving her 10 year imprisonment at Langata Prisons.

Lydia Achieng appeared on Inooro TV explaining how she was wrongfully detained for a case of defilement.

Lydia’s tears touched many people who started calling out for justice to be served and also caught the attention of the Director of Criminal Investigation considering her wrongful detention.

But according to The Judiciary of Kenya, Lydia Achieng was rightfully detained. The charges which landed him in Langata women’s prison was Committing an Indecent Act with a Child Contratry to Section 11(1) of the Sexual Offences Act no3 of 2006.

The judiciary has said that Lydia Achieng Juma was taken through a complete trial process. The court heard her case while the state lined four witnesses including the 13 year old minor who was the victim.

It was established that Lydia lured the boy into having sex with her on three different occasions between August and September 2010.

The case was ruled by Magistrate D.O Onyango in Kibera Law Courts.
