After a tough war with President Uhuru Kenyatta , Moses Kuria has unleashed fresh war with the majority leader of the national assembly Aden Duale.
After a long political drought , Duale appeared on live interview with Hussein Mohammed on Citizen TV. Duale raised a number of issues considering his political stands and that of Jubilee party.
On Tuesday, Kuria downplayed National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale’s interview on Citizen TV, by opposing his proposal on the referendum.
Kuria took to his Facebook account where he watered down Duale’s proposal, noting that the Parliamentary system will never be accepted especially by Central Kenya residents.
Kuria recently submitted his proposal to the Building Bridges Initiative, in which he recommends the introduction of a prime minister who will also be a member of the National Assembly either through an election or nomination.
He also argued that the prime minister should have two deputies; the first one who will be nominated to the National Assembly if he fails in the election and the second deputy who will be a member of the Senate through nomination or an election.
