Why Arsenal’s Season is still on course for a very good finish. Every Arsenal fan should read this

After the recent loss to at the Emirates Stadium in the FA Cup,the Arsenal fanbase has been somewhat divided. This peace aims at uniting all of them because that’s what the club requires.

First, we all knew that the quality and quantity of the Arsenal squad is not enough to compete on all fronts. Arsenal’s main objective this season is getting back to the Champions League, whether that is via the Europa League or a top four finish, it remains the number one priority for. Though the loss to Manchester United hurt, it is welcomed because we need to have players fit an available for the remainder of the season, which leaves us competing for the Europa League an a top four finish.

Secondly, Arsenal finished sixth last season and the season before that? Fifth. To expect a new manager to come in and transform Europa League players into world beaters barely six months into the job is fanciful to say the least. This season was always going to be a tricky one when you factor in the amount of changes the club has undergone in the past one year. To be fair Arsenal is dealing with the transition quite well, if you think otherwise Just ask Manchester United fans!

Finally, Arsenal has been rocked with long term injuries to key players which has crippled Unai Emery’s plans. Rob Holding was very important to how Emery wants to play his football, and so is Hector Bellerin(His only capable right back at the club).

Whatever you think of Danny Welbeck, he is a very capable player who will get you goals(He still has more than Ozil this season despite being injured since October!).

So there you have it Arsenal fans, stop this grumbling and get behind your team because it badly needs you. The team is still in with a shout for a top four finish and the Europa League remains our best path to Champions League football next season. There’s still a huge amount of football to be played, objectives to be met and a trophy to be won, hang on in there!
