AU High envoy for Infrastructure and Development Raila Odinga is enjoying his Visit of neighbouring Tanzania if his social media activity is anything to go by.
The ODM supremo has today visited Mama Maria Nyerere, the wife to Tanzania’s freedom fighter and Democracy icon the late Julius Nyerere at her home in Dar es Salaam.
Opposition Chief Raila Odinga seem to be doing just fine after his health scare yesterday at Tanzania’s National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
“Had a pleasant meeting with Mama Maria Nyerere at her home in Dar es Salaam this morning. We had a great discussion on the shared history of our two nations and it was great seeing her in high spirits,” posted Raila on Twitter.

The Visit to Mama Maria comes after Raila also paid a Courtesy call to Tanzania’s President John Pombe Magufuli.
President Magufuli and the Odinga families are close friends, a relationship that started as early as 2007 when then-Tanzanian Public Works Minister endorsed Mr Odinga for the presidency.
Mr. Odinga revealed that during his visit to Magufuli today, they compared notes on regional issues.
“I paid a courtesy call on my friend President @MagufuliJP this morning. We compared notes on regional issues,” tweeted Raila Odinga.
Raila’s Visits to Magufuli and Mama Maria comes just hours after a health scare while he was presiding over an award ceremony at the just concluded SportPesa Cup Finals between Kenya’s Kariobangi Sharks and Bandari FC.
In a recording, Mr Odinga is helped to walk, seemingly because of having difficulties doing so.
Following concern by the public, Mr Odinga issued a statement that all but confirmed that he was well.
“Dear Kenyans and friends from around the globe, I am well and in Good health. Thank you for your concern,” said Raila.
