The recent happenings in the country have forced Kenyans to be very paranoid. You see nobody wants to die in the hands of terrorists especially if they can avoid it.
Saturday’s grenade explosion has forced Mkokoteni guys to be extra vigilant on their clients. It is believed that the explosion which injured two people happened after a handcart pusher was given a small package to transport in his cart which exploded as the owner disappeared.
Now that is very scary. And even though the victims of the explosion have been treated and discharged from hospital, other Mkokoteni guys do not want to find themselves in such scenarios.
A woman has just narrated how she was forced to ride with her belongings in a Mkokoteni because the cart pusher did not want to carry her potential grenades.
“Today I asked a mkokoteni guy downtown to carry supplies for me akaniambia “Madam panda na mzigo yako niwabebe, kama ni Bomb mlipuke tu pamoja!” Narrates a woman only identified as Ciku Muriithi on Twitter.

Her Tweet has since gone viral though it is not yet clear if she was just joking or it is true. But I think Mkokoteni guys can copy a lesson from her story.
