Arsenal have been handed a major transfer boost in their pursuit of Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic as the club’s Director Guiseppe Marotta confirmed that the Croatian handed in a transfer request.
Perisic had been heavily linked with Manchester United in the past two transfer windows but the Red Devilsseem to have ended their chase for the winger.
The Inter Milan ace had a wonderful World Cup campaign last year aiding Croatia to the final where they lost to France. Prior to joining Inter, he played for Jurgen Klopp in the Bundesliga at Borussia Dortmund.
In an interview with Sky Italia after the 1-0 loss to Torino, Marotta revealed that Perisic has handed in a transfer request, “We will see in the coming days. We will listen to the request of Perisic, he has put in a transfer request. We must try to satisfy him but also respect the value of him.”
