Pogba’s confidant reveals the club he set join after Manchester United exit

Paul Pogba will only leave for Real Madrid or Barcelona if he decides to quit Manchester United, this is according to his brother Florentin Pogba.

There were suggestions that the French midfielder may leave his current club after his relationship with Jose Mourinho hit rock bottom. But since Mourinho was relieved of his duties Pogba has shone under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scoring five goals in six matches.

“When my brother eventually leaves Manchester United he can only go to three teams to improve — City, Real Madrid or Barca. He will not go to City, so he will come to Spain, either to Barca or Real Madrid.” Florentin toldAS.

It was Pogba’s determination to return to Man United from Juventus although Barca needed him, Florentin added and that the World Cup winning star needed to come and succeed where he had failed before. Florentin further revealed that his brother has been a happy man since Mourinho left the club.

“When he was at Juve he could have gone to Barca, but he was determined to return to Manchester where he had not succeeded in his first spell. There was also a move made by [then Real Madrid coach Zinedine] Zidane, although his desire was to return to England. Mourinho’s departure has been key. He wasn’t happy, and you could see that. Now with Solskjaer, everything has improved. He knows my brother from the Manchester [United] reserves.” Florentin concluded.

Pogba is expected to start for the Red Devils tonight in the FA Cup fourth round against Arsenal.
