While many are against the baning of the hijab wearing in a school by the Kenyan Supreme Court, there are those who feel that hijab is opresssion of women.
Taslima Nareen has expressed on twitter that men & women who believe in women’s equal rights should protest against the celebration of hijab which is a symbol of opression, suppresssion, denigration & humiliation of women.
Misogynists will celebrate ‘World Hijab Day’ on Feb 1. Men and women who believe in women’s equal rights should protest against the celebration of Hijab which is a symbol of oppression, suppression, denigration & humiliation of women.

In support of Naareen, another Sharma under women empowerment slogan added they are against hijab because a woman should be free from everything and also free to do whatever they want.

Another supporter of the ban has questioned why people are so emotional about the hijab issue yet on plenty of occcasions we have witnessed Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed appear in public without it.
Why are people so emotional about this hijab issue.
How many times does the CS education appear in public without it?Turning it into a religious war it won’t be good for this country.

Meanwhile those who don’t support the ban have in one of their arguments stated that the bible itself is not against women covering their heads and it is written in corintians 11 people should respect each other’s relligion.
The bible itself is not against women covering their heads and its written in corinthians 11 people should respect each other religions, allow muslim girls to put on their hijabs #Hijab
