Female artist Akothee has shared the side of her that many people might not know of.
Akothee on Mseto East Africa spoke of a habit that she has grown out of after weighing her options.
The Singer revealed that she used to spend about 100,000 Kenyan Shillings popping bottles for her friends in the club.
She however gave it a thought and decided to do something more constructive with her money.
Akothee says that she had to reconsider after she imagined that she might be spending her money on people who do not even love her ‘fake friends’.
The Singer rolled out programs to sponsor needy students and ensure that they get to go to school.
Currently, Akothee is supporting 3 university students and as at yesterday she had shared her intention to sponsor two female students from Eldoret.
This initiative will go a long way in helping needy students in the society to achieve their dreams.
