The Defiant Members of ODM party facing ouster from the party have come out boldly to defend their acts which were closely termed as acts of rebellion.
MPs Aisha Jumwa and Suleiman Dori have come out to speak their take on the plight of being sent out off the party.
Aisha has come out and asked the party leadership not to betray the spirit of the handshake. Aisha has said that with the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the former opposition leader Aisha Jumwa opened the lock which was placed by politics.
Dori and Aisha are among the top politicians who have been leading numerous campaigns across the country for the Deputy President William Ruto.
Their actions were termed as against the ODM party’s standards and style of operation. They were since served with warning letters and summoned to appear before the disciplinary committee.
They have since stated that they have not appeared before that disciplinary committee and they what their sins be forgiven.
The leaders were accompanied by other top leaders from the coastal region who also buy their into their idea.
