President Uhuru Kenyatta’s decision to appoint Fred Matiang’i as his Chief Minister or Prime Minister continues to evoke different reactions from Kenyans.
Matiang’i will chair the newly constituted National Development Implementation and Communication Committee, and will be deputised by his Treasury counterpart Henry Rotich.
The team will comprise of all the Cabinet Secretaries, Attorney-General Paul Kihara, and Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua.
Dr Matiang’i, long-seen by analysts as President Kenyatta’s Mr-Fix-It, will in the new position effectively be the prefect of his colleagues, and will report directly to the President.
Further details reveal that Matiang’i, who has headed crucial ministries since 2013, will be reporting directly to the President.
And we all know that there is someone behind all these decisions. His name is Raila Odinga, Baba or Joshua. The man who was to lead us to Canaan. Since the handshake between the two leaders in March last year, the two have been closer like twins.
Raila is running this country from the backdoor. He tells Uhuru what to do and the President implements it. So Uhuru is reporting directly to Baba, our Joshua.
So where does Baba take these reports? We all know that Raila is an enigma. He is above everyone else here in Kenya. In fact in the entire East Africa. Baba can only report to God. After all, the Biblical Joshua was also reporting directly to God.
So Matiang’i reports to Uhuru, Uhuru reports to Baba and Baba reports to God. Aren’t we in Canaan? We have already crossed the Jordan my brothers.
