Akothee’s newly signed artist Ziky Matana has spoken on the challenges before meeting Akothee.
Ziky was a Singer from way back but the hustle to get him record his song in studio was not so easy.
Mtanah says that he used to take up tasks at construction sites so that he would earn and save up for studio stations.
Ziky also revealed that he was orphaned and his education was cut short after class 8.
Life was tough and achieving his dream in the music industry was something that seemed like a hopeless dream.
However on meeting Akothee, things took a different turn for the Singer.
The duo met back in 2016 and Akothee says that she had only intended to support him and had not thought of signing him as an artist.
Akothee says that she opened a business for him and from that he also managed to move into a better house.
The initial place he used to stay was a 800 Ksh per month house. Fast forward to 2019 and the duo yesterday dropped a classic hit.
Madam Boss mentioned that the talented Ziky Mtanah has shown patience and is determined to take music up as a career.
Akothee says that she sees Mtanah as her son and her hope is that he will one of the greatest artist in Africa.
