Since the March 9th handshake by President Kenyatta and ODM Leader Raila Odinga alot has come up.

Most recently the Ekuru Aokot Third Way Alliance Party has expressed its confusion following the bromance between Uhuru and Odinga.

According to the party’s Secretary General Frederick Okango,  the growing bromance between President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga questioning.

He further said that it is not clear how Odinga has made his way to the President’s side and appears very close to him despite having made the worst moves against him initially.

“We cannot understand how a person who caused havoc after losing and went ahead to swear himself in as President, which is treasonous, is now sitting at the same table with the President,” he said.

The two have been very close after their March 9 truce, a situation Okango wondered about, considering that Raila even swore himself in on January 30 to protest Uhuru’s reelection in 2017.

Speaking in an interview on Radio Jambo Okango further said  the party doubts that the two will realize their pledge to eradicate recurrent political problems in the nation through their truce.

“They have started a fire they cannot manage. Its clear that whatever they are doing cannot eliminate tribalism and our remaining national problems,” he added.

The party is headed by former presidential hopeful Ekuru Aukot.
