Kenyan artist Akothee has today spoken on her initiative to educate the needy.
Speaking on Kiss FM, Akothee says that she wishes that the government could fully cater for the needy students stating that education is very important.
She also added that she is passionate about supporting the needy students because she values education.
Currently Akothee is supporting 3 boys and she revealed that she is in search of two girls from humble backgrounds so that she may fund their studies.
The Singer mentions that the students she wants to support are not from a specific region but from different counties.
The artist says that she has finished educating her children and she feels the urge to offer her support to the nation.
Akothee’s contribution goes way beyond the the music industry but also in the philanthropic initiatives that she has been part of.
The Female artist also revealed that she will give a full 4 year high school scholarship to the two students that she want to support.
This will go a long way to support young people and reduce the chances of involvement in crime and other illegal activities.
