Disappointment is very annoying when it is presented by individuals who have a task of straight forwardness. I’m sure that all of us have been disappointed by our friends,family or even colleagues a couple of times.This type of ignorance has pushed a very respected Kenyan Magistrate to the edge.
The judge was presiding over former Cabinet Secretary Hassan Wario’s case but was forced to post pone the matter for the third time.
Wario is facing corruption charges along side other officials including abuse of office and willful failure to comply with the law relating to the management of public funds.
The prosecution requested that the judge is adjourned since they had not served the defence with evidential documents.
Anti-Corruption Court Magistrate Douglas Ogotiaccused the prosecution of blaming Judiciary for slowing down cases yet it was them who lacked seriousness.
“Judiciary is being blamed for laxity yet you are the ones delaying matters for lack of seriousness and coordination,” stated Ogoti.
He further asked the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) to conduct thorough investigations on their staff to ascertain competence
