Shock has hit an al-shabaab self claimed suspect in the new twist after he landed in court with various questions to answer.

The 23 year old Kelvin Kitili alias Omar Ali Ibrahim claiming to be a former member of al-shabaab surrendered himself to police at Nakuru police station claiming that he was fearing for his life.

His surrender came barely five days after the cowardly DusitD2 terror attack that left 21 people dead and scores injured.

Appearing at the Milimani Law Courts earlier today, he was also charged with claiming that he had traveled to Somalia.
