Former Attorney General Sir Charles Njonjo celebrated his 99th birthday on Wednesday 23rd January.
The former AG as the minister for Justice and Constitutional Affairs during retired President Daniel Arap Moi regime.
Njonjo is remembered from blocking a section of Mt Kenya politicians from sabotaging Moi’s quest to succeed Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, two years to the latter’s death in 1976.
Kenyans on twitter came out to celebrate the no nonsense politician with messages of love on his birthday as he prepares to clock a 100 in 2020.
