When the current Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i landed his job as the Education CS, he took over with a stormthat impressed Kenyans and even president Uhuru who later changed his docket.
A new height as a result of his performance has been achieved yet again.In fresh news, Cabinet Secretary Matiang’i has been revealed as newly incharge on national development implementation & coordination of all government ministries.
Among his new roles will be;
Providing supervisory leadership throught the delivery cycle of all national government projects and programmes.
Receive and deliberate on Reports from the national development implementation Technical committee.
Provide timely gudance on appropriate measures to address challenges constraining effective implementation and delivery of National Government development programs and projects.
Monitor and evalute the follow up mechanisms for resources allocated for Nationalgovernment priority programmes and projects, to ensure proper utilization and realisation of the targeted outcomes.
