Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i says the country remains well prepared to handle security challenges warning that intent on disturbing public order that the law will catch up with them.
Speaking in Mombasa during the unveiling of 46 new counties Commanders and eight Regional commanders, Matiang’i at the same time lauded the country’s security forces for putting their lives on the line to secure the country amid increased threats posed by criminal elements.
Matiang’i assured Kenyans that the country is safe and urged citizens to go about their businesses without fear, saying police are on high alert to ensure security in the country.
The newly appointed county police commanders unveiled Monday are Marcus Ocholla of the Coast region, Eunice Kihiko of Eastern, Judy Jebet Lamet of Central, Philip Ndolo Ndunda of Nairobi, Edward Mwamburi of Rift Valley, Paul Soi of North Eastern, Vincent Makokha of Nyanza, and Rashid Yakub of Western.
