A top Kenyan blogger Abraham Mutai has expressed his disappointment after he was blocked on President Kenyatta’s twitter account.
The blogger claimed that he will address the matter to a lawyer since it is unconstitutional.
Mutai also added that this move is unacceptable since it shows intolerance to criticism .
He also mentioned that people might think he deserves it but he believes that the President is going after the wrong person.
Defending his intentions Abraham Mutai says that he is currently one of Kenyatta’s biggest supporters.
“And as your supporter I can only speak the reality that we face as a country as some of your advisors have failed you.” reads from his tweet
Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna also jumped in to share his thought saying that private individuals can block each other but anyone who occupies public office – legitimately or illegitimately – and Tweets as such does not have any legal basis or excuse to block a citizen of the country they (mis)govern.
This is not a concern of the President alone since another tweep jumped in to mention that Deputy President William Ruto blocked him too.
Welcome to the club ,his deputy blocked me Sometimes ago….they don’t take criticism they like praises from their sycophants! pic.twitter.com/gQpD2Crl16
