The Kenya Police Service in conjunction with the other agencies of defense played a very pivotal role to combat the terror attack that had hit Kenya once more.
The Recce squad among other local police officers swing into action without delay supported by other international police forces.
The level of coordination and reaction to the attack was almost immediate. Although the rescue mission took more than 12 hours to be completed, the police prevented the attackers from covering much of the ground and causing more damage to the people.
They have received praise on how they even played collaborative role to ensure that all their trails remain undercover till the last bit when the terrorists have been brought down.
Unlike The Westgate attack which saw more than 67 people lost their lives and the terrorist took more than 24 hours before police claimed back control of the building.
