Officers stormed the house of one the Dusit D2 attacker following neighbours’ tip off after they recognized the car which he used at the crime scene.
During the raid, the discovered a hole dug in the house.According to reports, the security forces believed that the hole had acted as a makeshift armory.
The assailant was described by neighbours as a friendly person who was rarely in the house.
“He would normally say Hi to everyone but no one knew him well since he was always in and out of the house,” a witness told Citizen TV.
Reports also indicated that a cache of weapons has also been recovered in the operation.
It is understood that the attackers had visited the scene of the crime days before carrying out the heinous attack.
