MULTIMEDIA STUDENT

Former Multimedia University of Kenya  student, Susan Njoki, who went missing on December 30, 2018, has been found dead. Ms Njoki’s body was found lying at Nairobi’s City Mortuary on Monday, January 14, her elder brother, Suleiman Ngige, has confirmed.

Mr Ngige told a local Daily that a City Mortuary attendant, who came across his social media post announcing his sister’s disappearance, informed him that he had seen Ms Njoki’s body at the morgue.

“We are currently at a city police station trying to find out what exactly led to my sister’s death. However, preliminary investigations show that she was run over by a vehicle, which left her dead on December 31. Her body, according to the morgue attendant, who I spoke to, was taken to the facility by a police van from Juja station at 3am on New Year’s Eve,” said Mr Ngige in a shaky voice.

In a January 10 interview with a local blog, Mr Ngige, said the former Bachelor of Applied Communication student, who graduated in 2017, went missing on December 30.

Ms Njoki, 24, was last seen in Nairobi’s central business district at 11pm after reporting to work earlier in the day.

The ex-MMU student, a second born in a family of four siblings, worked as a products promotion agent, and on December 30, she had gone for a “gig” in Kitengela, Kajiado County.

“Her workmate, whom we have spoken to, told us that the last conversation she had with Njoki, was when Njoki inquired if she had found a matatu home,”
