Celebrities unite for Bruce Odhiambo’s Burial Fundraiser Plans

 

Kenyans have joined in to give their support to the former Youth Fund Chairman Bruce Odhiambo by campaigning for his burial fundraiser.

This move by top artists and media personalities is to ensure that he gets a befitting send off.

The Fundraiser event will be held on Tuesday  at the All Saints Cathedral Nairobi from 5 PM.

In the poster that is doing rounds in social media, they have also shared MPESA details for the same for any willing heart to chip in.

Odhiambo was a man of the people and his contribution in various sectors is vivid.

From the star reports, Odhiambo died on Tuesday morning at the Nairobi Hospital Intensive Care Unit after a long battle with cardiac ailments.

In 2018 October, Odhiambo went to India to replace his pacemaker that had been implanted under the skin to help manage irregular heartbeats.

The announcement of his  death was followed by many sentiments from Kenyans who shared of the memories with Bruce Odhiambo.

Top BBC Presenter Larry Madowo says that Bruce was a good man and a bad man and we all are.

Most artists eulogized him as a man who nurtured talents and gave his support. Not all might have had good memories of him but well, that is  life everyone has their story.

Despite the good and the bad, celebrities have stood to see him have a peaceful rest. Some of the celebrities who  sent out their messages are; Wahu Kagwi, Talia Oyando, Jua Kali, Sauti Sol  among others.
