Ghanaian Pastor reveals how he warned Ruto against vying for Presidency

As the 2022 succession politics continues a popular Ghanaian Rev Nicholas Duncan Williams has comeout to reveal how he warned Kenya’s Deputy President William Ruto vying against President Kenyatta in 2017 general election.

According to Rev. Williams, Ruto and his Wife Rachael and a small team of advisors visited his church when he delivered the message.

In a video posted in May 2018, Williams mentions the DP in his sermon, saying he had advised him against him against challenging his boss and asked him to wait for 2022.

“Before the Kenyan elections, the DP came to see me. He was planning for elections as President and he came with his wife and some team and we prayed. I said it is not your time, you will not win. I said if you join Mr. Kenyatta as his vice, you will win…and he went and joined and he is the DP today,” the Reverend says.

The reverend further said that DP ruto approached him seeking light over the running of presidency.

This was reportedly among the first instances that Ruto started facing hurdles on his way to clinching the top office.
