After being drawn against Arsenal in the FA Cup fourth round, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is delighted and believes the tie will offer his charges a challenge.

The clash will pit two of the most successful sides in FA Cup history with Arsenal leading the pack with 13 titles to Manchester United’s 12. The Gunners booked their fourth-round slot after a 3-0 win over Blackpool while United got past Reading to set up a date with Arsenal. Solskjaer is currently with the Manchester United squad in Dubai for warm weather training.

Speaking to MUTV, Solskjaer revealed that he was delighted with the draw, “Fantastic. We need these games. These players need the big games to be challenged. Of course, everyone says we’ve won the last five games but [they have] not been [against] big opposition.

“But you can only beat the teams you play and, for us to get tested and go to the next level, you need those games. And if you want to win the FA Cup, you have to beat everybody.”

Manchester United will face Arsenal on Saturday 26th January at the Emirates Stadium.
