Payet offered huge money to move to China

Another one heading to the Chinese Super League?
West Ham old boy Dimitri Payet is set to be offered a huge amount of money to move to the Chinese Super League.

The Frenchman set the Premier League alight during his time with the Hammers and was a pretty sought after player.

However, he would leave the club labelled as a ‘snake’ after he refused to play for the club until he got a move back to Marseille.

He would eventually leave in January of 2018 and rejoin his former club with Slaven Bilic claiming he had no other choice with the players desire to leave affecting the rest of the team.

He continued his impressive performances with Marseille but now he could be set for yet another move.

That is because he could reportedly be offered big money to join Leonardo Jardim in China.

According to them, Payet could be a target for several clubs in China but Yifang is the most concrete.

This could also affect Arsenal, with the Gunners currently linked with a move for Yifang’s Yannick Carrasco.

It would be almost a like for like replacement and could signal that a move to Arsenal for Carrasco is set to happen.

France Football’s report then goes on to explain that Payet could triple his salary should he make the move.

Marseille will also hope they can get ‘between 25 and 30M euros’ for the player.

However, they go on to explain that the intentions of the French club and Payet are not yet known.

This could certainly give the player some food for thought.
