A father and his daughter have been arrested after they were found in possession of Ksh.700,000 fake currency in Embu North Sub County.
Assistant County Commissioner 1 Manyatta Division Fredrick Kimani confirmed the arrest identifying the two as Josephine Mukami Mugo, 25 and Mugo Rware.
The two are currently being held at Manyatta Police Station.
Mr. Kimani said police also discovered a suspicious liquid which they believe the suspects were using to process the currency.
Police are still searching for the machine which they were reportedly using to make the fake notes.
The suspects will be arraigned in court later this week.
