What is this media vs music industry battle all about?
Kenyan Rapper Khaligraph Jones has clarified on why he has gone hard on the media. A conversation that has for the past few days brought social media to a standstill.
What is he really fighting for? Well for him, it is not for his songs but about his concerns on upcoming artists.
Khaligraph Jones says that his music is good and he is satisfied that he is doing well with or without radio.
He also adds saying that the fight is for young souls who want to be a musician in the coming future.
Khaligraph Jones also fired back at Kenyans who claim that Kenyan artists do not have content and that is why their music is shelved.
The Rapper in his post says that he is saddened by those calling for content yet they do not realize how much talent there is in this country.
Khaligraph says that the talent never gets to the radios simply because of the system that is in place.
He also insists that the industry should be fixed and not that his music should be played but local content should be given an upper hand.
Jones also fired back to the media asking them to stop politics and support artists.
