Manchester United squad have chosen their next permanent manager

Manchester United’s squad have already decided that they hope for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be appointed as the club’s permanent manager, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Norwegian has enjoyed a hugely successful start to life as manager at Old Trafford by becoming the first coach since Sir Matt Busby to win his first five games in charge of the club.

Solskjaer’s man-management approach has been welcomed by the squad following Jose Mourinho’s divisive reign.

United squad chose Solskjaer as permanent manager . Solskjaer has rejuvenated United in just five games with his side scoring 16 goals and conceding just three.

Wins in the Premier League over Cardiff City, Huddersfield Town, AFC Bournemouth and Newcastle United have seen them return into contention for the top four.

United’s style of play has also been significantly improved with the players playing with a freedom which was lost under Mourinho.

The likes of Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku are all thriving under the 45-year-old.

The squad are delighted with the changes Solskjaer has already implemented and are ready for him to be given the job on a full-time basis.

Despite Mauricio Pochettino remaining the favourite amongst Old Trafford officials, the club’s players have already chosen Solskjaer.

The man currently on loan from Molde FK has also made his desires clear to take charge permanently.
