Christian Pulisic is an elated footballer after his switch from Borrusia Dortmund to Chelsea was made public early enough.
The 20-year old agreed to join Chelsea but will stay at Dortmund for the rest of the season as the club chases Bundesliga glory. They lead the Bundesliga pack six points clear of Bayern Munich.
“It’s good now that it’s out and people know about my future but I’m really excited I have the chance to be here for the rest of the season. The only thing I can say is I hope people understand my decision and I also hope they understand that I am here 100 per cent and very focused to finish out the season with Dortmund. I am really excited,” Pulisic said.
“It’s a really good time for me and I have had an amazing five years in Germany. It’s been incredible and I am so thankful for that. It’s been a dream of mine [to play in the Premier League] and I am really excited about this move and I feel like it was just the right time for me. I’ve seen their style of play. I’ve always appreciated how they’ve played football, and it’s really nice how they play now, with their new coach. It fits me very well.” Pulisic added.
The US international joined Chelsea in a £57.6m move and that makes him the second most expensive player at Chelsea after Alvaro Morata.
