Kenya’s film director and producer Wanuri Kahiu is on another level of success and achievements as she was recently featured in the latest release of the British Vogue Magazine.
Wanuri was a major highlight on the 2018 stories making headlines over her film ‘Rafiki’ which resulted to a clash with Kenyan Films Classification Board.
The Rafiki film which was banned in Kenya but later on saw the ban lift for a couple days is one of the films that brought her to International fame and recognition.

She kicked off her year in style when she was in the vogue magazine among the most amazing women.
Although she faced a backlash with the Rafiki film which had been nominated for the Oscars, Wanuri Kahiu expressed the joy of ushering yet another year with the great honor to be featured in one of the biggest publications in the global space.
Congratulatory messages flooded her page to celebrate the making of a Kenyan Star and her efforts.
