Today over 20 people will shine and get commended for keeping twitter alive and fun.
We can call them the twitter gurus. In the 20 listed categories, they capture a variety of art and efforts from being the most hilarious to the upcoming .
The aim of these awards is to impact the lives of Kenyan youth. A way of motivation and inspiring people for what may seem to be the slightest achievement.
It is never a dull day with tweeps especially Kenyans; they have shown their dedication in using that platform to voice social injustice, weigh in on very important agendas that concern the nation.
But even so, the humour is like an endless thread, the funny memes ad jokes that enable them use their creativity and sharing of thought provoking content.
Apart from top influences, this award will recognize several brands of photographers, journalists, poets and more.
A tough competition however since over 80 people were nominated for this and only 20 will meet the cut.
The announcement of the winners comes about a week after the voting deadline and Kenyans have expressed their anxiety.
