The former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has been trying by all means to remain relevant in the political game since he was shown the door in 2017.
Boni Khalwale who wanted to be the governor of Kakamega was dismally defeated by the current governor Wycliffe Oparanya.
Since then Boni Khalwale has been struggling to remain relevant by urging the luhya people to support him in 2022.
In efforts to secure this post in 2022 , Khalwale has headed to the famous Dini ya Msambwa for prayers of anointing and consecration. Boni Khalwale is seen being prayed for by the church Bishop. In what looks akward , the church Bishop leading the prayer cursing the current Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala.
But the church seems a gathering place for many political leaders from the area. The bishop mentions big names from the region who have gone for prayers and their political paths turned out being successful.
