Bobi Wine set to perform in Jamaica

Days after Uganda police blocked Kyadondo East Member of Parliament from holding his music concert,Robert Kyagulanyi better known as Bobi Wine is headed to Jamaica.

Bobi Wine has landed an invitation to perform at the Rebel Salute Festival slated to take place on the 18th and 19th of January, 2019.

This was confirmed by a video clip made by the organizer of the two day event, legendary Jamaican singer and promoter Tony Rebel.

“Uganda this is no propaganda. Bobi Wine in Jamaica on time in time for Rebel Salute,” said Rebel.

Held annually around the 15th of January in order to double up as the birthday celebration of Rebel, the 2019 edition will rock from Grizzly’s Plantation Cove, St Ann Parish, Jamaica.

According to Reggeaville, the 26th edition will feature big acts drawn from the reggae and dancehall scene such as Luciano,The Wailers, Yellowman, Koffee, Bounty Killer, Dawn Penn and Capleton among others.

Bobi Wine will also share the stage with fast rising Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie alias Patoranking.
