The world is set to hand a kiss of goodbye to the year 2018 as they usher in the new year 2019. Everyone is anxious for 2019, not to forget the Ugandans whose anxiety has been driven to the head of state’s address. Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is set to deliver his new year message to Ugandans today as from 7:00 pm.
Museveni will speak to the nation through all Radio and TV Stations in Uganda.

The Ugandan head of state also wished all Ugandans a blessed 2019. Museveni has been in unending woes with his government critics for the better part of 2018.
The most hit in the woes is Ugandan MP and singer Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine, who has been arrested by Museveni not less than once for being his critic.
Museveni also through his official twitter account on Sunday assured support for Miss Uganda Foundation.
“Like I indicated earlier, the government will support the Miss Uganda Foundation and also support Abenakyo in her activities. I wish her success in her reign as Miss Uganda and Miss World Africa,” his post read.
