Miguna Miguna has tackled President Kenyatta and accuses him of double speaking for saying that he is tired of cases taking too long in court.
The controversial lawyer says Kenyatta has not been obeying curt orders for not intervening in the matter of him getting back his passport as well as his return to Kenya.
The President had spoken as the voice of Kenyans saying that the issue of cases taking long has been nagging many citizens.
He gave orders that the judiciary as an arm of government should take full responsibility and work on their roles.
Miguna Miguna however questions how long the Uhuru ICC case took and even so many ask what really came out of it.
Kenyatta in a recent public address said that the government will not dictate to the judiciary since they have the responsibility to adjudicate in a speedy and conclusive manner.
The President also noted that the judiciary cannot use their independence to keep the whole country at bay.
Defending the executive, the head of state mentioned that they have done their part.
“As the executive we have done our part. We have worked to make sure that all departments charged with investigating cases of corruption have all the support. We ask the judiciary to support this fight” he said
The fight against corruption as part of President Kenyatta’s legacy plan has seen the arrest of many officials but somehow the perception that some are untouched still remains.
The President however assured Kenyans that the fight is still on and they will see the fruits before he completes his second term.
The Tyrant @UKenyatta claims that he is “tired of cases that take years in court.” How long did his case involving crimes against humanity at the @ICC last? How long has he disobeyed 15 High Court Orders compelling him to return my passport and allow my return to Kenya?
