President Uhuru Kenyatta has come out for the first time to state that the achievement of the Big Four Agenda is not Limited to a certain time frame.
In responding to the question raised by journalists in the state of the nation address in Mombasa , President Uhuru has said that his government cannot state the exact dates when the big four agenda will be fully implemented.
The President has rather explained that the state is adopting new systems which must be tested before they are fully implemented. The head of state explained that his government is not picking a system that is already working from somewhere else and bringing the same in the country, instead it is bringing on something new that will benefit Kenyans.
In elaborating the point the President gave an example of Universal health care. He said his government picked four counties;Machakos, Kisumu, Nyeri and Isiolo as pilot counties to test the effective of the Universal Health Care.
He said once tested and proved to be working it will be rolled out to the entire nation. That is the action plan relevant in also achieving other government agendas. He said it is a matter of trial and error till a perfect fit solution is found for the implementation of the projects.
